Sacred Metamorphosis

This 100% linen rebozo, entirely hand-embroidered, celebrates transformation, freedom, and the beauty of nature. At its center, a majestic butterfly unfolds, an ancient symbol of rebirth and evolution, surrounded by delicate flowers that seem to blossom in its wake.

The threads used in the embroidery were artisanally dyed with indigo and cochineal, two of the most valuable natural dyes in Mesoamerican textile tradition. The deep blue of indigo represents wisdom, the sky, and spiritual connection, while the pink hues of cochineal evoke vital force, creativity, and the energy of the heart.
